The information people get from social networks is much faster since in just one click, thousands of people can see it already than in the news in the television. The information on social sites are more fast moving and is the most latest than the news on television. Although, people should still be careful on the sites where they read the news since not all of them are legit and should still look if the news and site is credible or not.

Social media has been one of the essential tools that people and the government use in times of natural disasters. Social media has been classified as a life-saving tool in some other websites since people share, sends out information about the disaster and immediately receives feed backs and responds. It is described that social media is one handy tool and of great service during natural disasters. Social networks can also be used to send donations to the people who have been affected by the disasters. Social media not only make people aware that there is a natural calamity happening at the moment but it also warns people even before and this is a great way to prevent any bad things from happening to the people.
